A BIT ABOUT ACFE PURDUE

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Purdue Chapter is organized to increase students’ awareness of business ethics and anti-fraud professions by hosting a series of anti-fraud events and bringing together business major students and sociology/pre-law students to fight fraud and develop leadership and professionalism.

FRAUD CASE STUDIES

  • Interactive discussion on current fraud cases out in the world hosted by Purdue Forensics Accounting Professor and club advisor, Dr. Troy Janes.

  • The goal is to expose and raise awareness of the current fraudulent activities.

GUEST SPEAKERS

  • Speakers from a variety of backgrounds including CFE’s, CPA’s, Cyber Forensics Professors, FBI, and IRS agents to share their experiences in their field of expertise.

  • This provides students with wide network opportunities and explore their fields of interest.

"Through the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship, the ACFE Foundation supports the education of students who have an interest in pursuing a career in fraud examination. The scholarship provides an opportunity for students to advance their education and anti-fraud career paths. Many of these outstanding and deserving students go on to become Certified Fraud Examiners." - National ACFE Scholarship
